Status symbols provide you with a visual indication of the deployment status of your virtual devices.

|
The device twin has been created, but does not contain any published modules. |

Pending |
|
A module has been added to or updated on the device twin, and needs to be deployed to the edge device. |

Published |
|
A module has been successfully published to the device twin, but the edge device has not yet downloaded the changes. |

Deployed |
|
All published modules have been downloaded to the edge device. |
|
Unpublished |
None |
All modules have been removed from the device twin and the edge device. |
|
Undeployed |
None |
All modules have been stopped and removed from the edge device. |
|
Failed |
|
A module has failed to deploy or undeploy successfully from the edge device, or there is a problem with the edge device itself. |
