System Requirements and Other Prerequisites

AVEVA™ Gateway Data Publisher requires Windows 11 (64-bit) or Windows Server 2025 (64-bit) and .NET Runtime version 10.0 to operate. In addition, a valid access token generated using the correct account/folder must be available for AVEVA™ Gateway Data Publisher to access the AVEVA™ Ingestion Service end point URL. The access token must be made available through the GDP Service Manager tool or through the aveva.gdp.service.exe command line tool , both available in the Start menu after the installation of the AVEVA™ Gateway Data Publisher. Note: The aveva.gdp.service.exe command line tool can be run only when the cmd window is opened with administrator privileges.

From Gateway Data Publisher 1.4 onwards, .NET 10.0 is required to start the service.

The AVEVA™ Gateway Data Publisher does not require a license to operate.

Note: It is always recommended to use the latest Gateway Data Publisher configuration provided with the installation setup.
