Layouts are divided one or more rectangular areas called panes. Each pane can be individually sized, and contains content to be displayed in a ViewApp at run time. When you build an app, you are building content that can be added to a pane. For additional information about layouts and panes, see Layouts in the AVEVA OMI Help.
