Test your app

Test your app as follows:

1. Create a layout and add the App to it. See Layouts in the AVEVA OMI Help for additional information.
2. When you add the App to a layout, its public properties should be visible for configuration. If you have added an AppManifest.xml file, you should see only the public properties that are listed in the file.
3. Add the layout to a ViewApp, then create an instance of the ViewApp and deploy it. See Deploy ViewApps in the AVEVA OMI Help for additional information.
4. Open the ViewApp with the AVEVA OMI Application Manger to verify the operation of the App in run time. See Run ViewApps in the AVEVA OMI Help for additional information.
