Promote a project

AVEVA Operator Training Simulator offers a workflow to promote your projects through different stages, or "modes," with distinct purposes:

1. Editing mode—the project is newly created or is being modified.

2. Staging mode—the project is being tested to ensure quality and completeness.

3. Training mode—the project is ready for live training environments.

A project can regress to an earlier mode, when necessary, and then be re-promoted to a higher mode. For example, if errors are found while a project is in Staging mode, then it is returned to Editing mode, modified, and then promoted to Staging mode again to be retested.
