Training Mode

Training mode projects are linked to an AVEVA Unified Learning course in live production.

If you find minor problems with a project at this point, you can modify an earlier version and promote it to Training mode. See the procedure in Editing mode. If the problems are bigger than that, revert the Training-mode project to previous version while the fixes are made.

To promote a project to Training mode

1. Select the Projects tab.

2. For a project whose Mode is Training, select Edit from the menu.

   The Edit project screen opens.

3. Click Next to open the Node configuration page.

4. For the appropriate node, change the image version to the recently created version.

5. Select the latest image version for the capturable node(s).

6. Click Next to open the Launch parameters page.

7. For each content repository, select the latest branch in each Branch menu.

8. Click Next to open to the Shutdown Behavior page.

9. Click Next to open the Confirm and complete page.

10. Click Update project.

11. When prompted that the update was successful, click OK.

12. Launch a session from the Training-mode project to validate the recent updates to the system.
