History recovery is the act of recovering data from the Wonderware Historian into Data Archive from a recovery point.

The PI Connector for the Wonderware historian persist the last known good values timestamp for each tag configured to be written to PI during live connector operation. Each point is configured through a connector's data source and therefore the timestamps are persisted on the disk using the data source name in which the tag is defined. These files are located at %PIHOME%\Connectors\WonderwareHistorian\Configuration\<data source_name>.csv.
