Location4 (scan class)

The value in the Location4 scan class parameter determines the frequency at which input points are scanned for new values. It is configured by the user to meet their particular requirements. You can enter as many scan classes as needed, though users are typically satisfied with five.
Location4 represents an index to the /f definitions in the interface's .bat file. This "trait" is shared among all UniInt-based interfaces. See the UniInt user guide for a detailed description of the /f start-up parameter(s).
The Location4 value must be a positive whole number, starting with 1 and going up to the /f parameter value in the .bat file. Zero (0) is allowed for event-based (trigger) tags.
If the value in Location4 is larger than the value of /f in the start-up file, or is negative, then the interface logs an error.
