This operation is available only when the interface runs on Windows XP and higher.
If Location2 is 10, the required keywords are DEVICE= and INPUT=. The value of the former keyword specifies the IP address of a name server whose response time the user wants to measure. The value of the latter specifies the hostname that the name server should translate. For example,
DEVICE=192.168.10.100; INPUT=www.mycompany.com;
When the PI point type is , the interface writes to the point the results of the translation. When the PI point type is numeric (that is, ), the interface writes the time taken to perform such a translation.
The value of DEVICE= must be an IP address. The value of INPUT= cannot be an IP address.
