Message headers

Message headers allow you to pass additional information with the message. The message headers include important information, such as what version of OMF is being used.

Note: We recommend that you enable the EnableCSRFDefense setting in PI Web API for both development and production environments. The EnableCSRFDefense setting controls whether the PI Web API checks requests for the X-Requested-With header. This header is used to ensure a malicious web application cannot send HTTP requests.
