To use OMF to ingress data into the PI System, you need to install and configure PI Web API.

  1. To install OMF, use the latest PI Web API installation kit available on the AVEVA Customer Support - Product page.

  2. When you install PI Web API, select the Open Message Format Ingress Services sub-component.
