PI Connector for UFL

Identify administration group users

To configure and administer the connector, users must belong to the local Windows PI Connector Administrators group. You will be prompted to add these users during installation. After installation, you can use Windows Administration tools to add or remove users from the PI Connector Administrators group at any time.

Note: Use care when selecting users for the PI Connector Administrators group. Users will be able to locally or remotely stop and start the connector, and modify configurations.

  1. Identify all local or domain users that require connector administrative privileges.

  2. Open the Run window and enter: lusrmgr.msc, then click OK. The Local Users and Groups window opens.

  3. Double-click Groups.

  4. Double-click PI Connector Administrators.

  5. Select Add.

  6. Enter the user's name, then click Check Names and select the user from the list and click OK.

  7. Select OK.
