Deployment

PI SQL Client can be deployed in various combinations, but requires PI SQL Data Access Server (RTQP Engine) to connect to the PI System. For details, see the PI SQL Data Access Server (RTQP Engine) Administrator Guide.

PI SQL Client can run on different architectures (32-bit or 64-bit).

Note: We recommend using 64-bit operating systems whenever possible. Performance will be better on a 64-bit operating system than on a 32-bit operating system.
