PI SQL Client ODBC offers Function Tracing using Event Tracing for Windows (ETW). Use the following procedure to turn on messaging.

From Windows, start Event Viewer.

Click View > Show Analytic and Debug Logs.

In the left pane, expand Applications and Services Log > OSIsoft > SQL > PI SQL Client ODBC > Debug Channel.

Right-click Debug and select Enable Log.

If a confirmation prompt appears, click OK.
Now all PI SQL Client ODBC activity gets logged. Use any Event Tracing for Windows (ETW) tool for analyzing the trace events.
