This section describes how a connected client requests access to items (or attributes) of a particular DDE/SuiteLink data source.
The following is an example of a client/data source connection via OI Gateway, and its associated item name syntax:

To access an item in a DDE/SuiteLink server via OI Gateway through an OPC client, use the following syntax:
Establish connection:
"OI.Gateway.1"
Reference item:
"ABTCPDDE.FastTopic.N7:0"
