Map an incident type to role

You can map a role to an incident and set the escalation levels.
To map a role to an incident type:

Select Add New.

Select System from the drop-down list.

Select Incident Type from the drop-down list.

Select the Initial Role Notified from the drop-down list.

Add Response Duration for Escalation 1.

Select Role Notified in Escalation 1 from the drop-down list.

Add Response Duration for Escalation 2.

Select Role Notified in Escalation 2 from the drop-down list.
Note: An escalation is triggered to the next level upon time lapse, depending on the response duration and role selected.

Select + icon.
The Save option appears.

Select Save.
