Restrict website access

You can create restrictions to allow users from a specified group to access the website.

To restrict website access:

  1. On the IIS window, select IMSOP_Website.

  2. Under IIS, double-click Authentication.

    The Authentication window appears.

  3. Right-click Anonymous Authentication and then select Disable.

  4. Right-click Windows Authentication and then select Enable.

  5. In the left pane, select IMSOP_Website.

  6. Double-click Authorization Rules on the main window.

  7. Right-click the existing rule and select Remove.

    The existing rule is removed.

  8. In the right pane, select Add Allow Rules.

    The Add Allow Rules dialog box appears.

  9. Select Specified roles or user groups.

  10. Enter the user group name SOPAppUsers.

  11. Select OK.

    The access is now restricted and the website is accessible only to the specified user group.
