Disable and enable a virtual table

You can disable and enable a virtual table to pause and resume data refreshes. You may want to disable a virtual table to freeze a data set or pause updates. Conversely, a virtual table may be automatically disabled in the case of an error in the data view or a job execution error in Databricks. Disable a virtual table
To manually disable a virtual table and pause data refreshes, perform the following steps:

In the left pane, select Analytics > Virtual Tables.

Select the Virtual Tables tab.

Select the virtual table you want to edit.

Select More Options
and then select Disable virtual table.
This will cancel all current and queued jobs.

Select Disable to confirm your choice.
Enable a virtual table
To enable a virtual table and resume data refreshes, perform the following steps:

In the left pane, select Analytics > Virtual Tables.

Select the Virtual Tables tab.

Select the virtual table you want to edit.

Select More Options
and then select Enable virtual table.
This will restore all current and queued jobs.

Select Enable to confirm your choice.
