A manual refresh allows you to update a virtual table outside of its scheduled refresh interval. This is useful when data has changed retroactively or when a scheduled refresh has failed to capture recent updates.
You can perform a manual refresh when you need:
-
Community data updates
If data changes occurred before the current refresh interval, a manual refresh is required to capture those changes.
-
Error recovery
When a virtual table is disabled due to job execution errors, a manual refresh may be part of the recovery process.
-
Data accuracy
Perform a manual refresh to ensure the most accurate dataset when working with time-sensitive or corrected data.
