Configuring the Appearance Properties of the Grid

You can configure properties that determine the visual appearance of the Alarm DB View control.

To configure the appearance of the grid

1. Right-click the Alarm DB View control and then click Properties. The AlmDbViewCtrl Properties dialog box appears.

2. Click the General tab.

   

3. Configure the general appearance. Do the following:

   • Click the Show Grid check box to show the grid.

   • Click the Silent Mode check box to prevent the control from showing any error messages at run time.

   • Click the Show Message check box to show a message if the alarm query does not return any records. Type the message to show in the box.

   • Click the Show Heading check box to show the control heading.

   • Click the Show Status Bar check box to show the status bar.

4. Click Apply.
