Generate and configure the service access token

Access tokens are authorization passcodes that you, as an account Administrator, can generate and use to send data from an on-premises installation so that it can integrate with CONNECT applications.
The expiry time of a service access token is set at the time that you create the token. Once a token expires—at an interval defined by your security policy—you must create a new one and update your configuration.
You will need to retrieve the access token from CONNECT and encrypt it as per the following procedure.
To generate the and configure the service access token

To generate the service access token, refer to the CONNECT documentation (https://aveva-dev.zoominsoftware.io/bundle/measurement-advisor-cloud/page/1226600.html).

When defining your advanced service access token, select the correct AVEVA Measurement Advisor Service and Folder.

When selecting the Role, select all of the Data Entry roles:

Meas Data Entry Config

Meas Data Entry Event

Meas Data Entry GQ
-
Meas Data Entry Meter

Proceed to Encrypt the service access token.
