Restore the DPP database

To restore the backed-up DPP database to the new Microsoft SQL Server instance

  1. Navigate to the following Microsoft page:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/relational-databases/backup-restore/restore-a-database-backup-using-ssms?view=sql-server-ver16

  2. In the above page, navigate to "A. Restore a full database backup" under "Examples".

  3. Follow steps 1 and 2 in the above section.

  4. In step 3, follow the instructions under the "Device" bullet.

  5. (Optional) Follow step 7 to allow the database to be restored to another instance.
