Disable raw data transfer to cloud

If you want to disable the transfer of raw data to the cloud endpoint, you will need to update the configuration of the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA CloudData service.

Note: The CloudMeasurementTransferEnabled key is enabled by default. Disabling this setting should only be done at the advice of AVEVA customer support. In order for the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA CloudData service to successfully start up, you must have at least one of the transfer-enabled keys set to true (that is, CloudMeasurementTransferEnabled and/or OnPremMeasurementTransferEnabled).

To disable the transfer of raw data to the cloud endpoint

1. In the %DNADataRoot%\CloudData\config\Settings directory, either create or open the MonitorMeasBufferDB.json file.

2. In the file, add the following configuration:

   "CloudMeasurementTransferEnabled": false

   }

   }

3. Save the file.

4. If you have a dual-hosted AVEVA Enterprise SCADA CloudData service, make the same changes in the override file on both servers.

5. If the AVEVA Enterprise SCADA CloudData service is running, restart the service for the changes to take effect.
