In order to be successful when configuring AVEVA Measurement Advisor Cloud Data Connector for AVEVA Enterprise SCADA, you must have successfully installed the RCS_XFER service and it must be running in the untrusted domain.
-
If you have not previously installed the RCS_XFER service, please contact AVEVA Customer Support for assistance. If the RCS_XFER service is already installed, you will not need to perform the outlined procedures.
-
If the RCS_XFER service is installed and running on a separate Remote Client Service (RCS) host other than the server running the Inter-System Publish/Subscribe (ISPS) service, you will need to install the systemLink certificate on the RCS host.
-
This certificate can be installed using EncryptionCertInstaller.exe in the %DNAInstallRoot\Tools\bin directory (for more information around installation, please contact AVEVA Customer Support.).

The RCS_XFER service depends on the Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) Data Access Layer (DAL) drivers, which are now installed as part of the Remote Client Service (RCS) feature by default.
