Modify advanced features

Perform the following steps to modify the advanced features.

1. Stop the connector from the Administration Site.

2. Stop the PI Connector for CygNet service from Windows Services Control Manager.

3. Modify features in ConnectorGlobal.config.json. See Limit number of requests to CygNet based on the number of cores, CygNet Point State Status Tags, and PI Asset Attribute Selection sections in this document for more information.

4. Save changes.

5. Remove Tau Buffer and Cache folders (C:\ProgramData\OSIsoft\Tau\CygNet.ConnectorHost\CygNet Connector\Buffer and C:\ProgramData\OSIsoft\Tau\CygNet.ConnectorHost\CygNet Connector\Cache).

   Note: Only applicable if making changes described in the PI Asset Attribute Selection section.

6. Restart PI Connector for CygNet Service from Windows Services Control Manager.

7. Start connector.
