Installation requirements for PI Connector for CygNet

PI Connector for CygNet supports data collection from the following system configuration:

• CygNet v9.8

• 64-bit computers running Windows Server 2008 R2 or later

• local or network connectivity to a CygNet Address Resolution Service (ARS)

To run PI Connector for CygNet, a computer must have the following vendor software installed:

• CygNet ODBC Driver (32- and 64-bit versions)

• CygNet Scripting API (64-bit version)

For optimal performance, the connector should run on the same server as the CygNet Facility Service (FAC), Point Service (PNT), Current Value Service (CVS), and Value History Service (VHS) from which data is collected.
