Overview
PI Connector for CygNet transfers unidirectional real-time data from CygNet SCADA Platform to the PI System. PI Connector for CygNet collects CygNet Facilities and Points data, models it in PI Asset Framework and automatically creates the PI points in PI Data Archive.

The connector can now be installed using a virtual service account or a local/domain account.

The connector integrated and tested with CygNet SCADA Platform version 9.8 COM libraries.

Changes to the connector message log levels to make logs more usable.

CygNetAssetUpdateDelay configuration value has been deprecated.

If the connector has multiple data sources configured, startup performance time is reduced.

Installation and upgrade
Installing PI Connector for CygNet
The PI Connector for CygNet can be installed or upgraded using the installation kit. This installation kit (Connector for CygNet_1.7.0.98_.exe) can be obtained by using the How to Download Products link listed in the Customer Portal How To's list. This list is located on the Customer Portal site.

Uninstalling PI Connector for CygNet
The PI Connector for CygNet can be uninstalled using the Programs and Features list accessible from the Windows Control Panel. After accessing the Programs and Features list, select the PI Connector for CygNet and then select Uninstall to uninstall the interface
