List of Ports tab properties for transfers

Name

The name of the port.

Description

Optional. The description of the port.

Port Type

Indicates the type of port: Input, Output, or Undirected (for meters, for example).

Allowed Categories

The categories to which the port belongs. To assign categories, click and select categories in the Categorize window.

Maximum Connections

The maximum number of connections that can be made to the port. The default number of connections for a transfer is 1. A value of zero indicates an unlimited number of connections.

Connection Type

The type of connections to which the port can connect. The default connection types for a transfer are Boundary and Node. For more information on connection type values, see Element types used in models.

Allowed Template

Defaults to all element templates, but you can select a specific template from the list.
