You can customize certain features of PI System Explorer in the Options dialog.
General tab
You can change control these display options for PI System Explorer on the General tab:

Keystroke to open Check-In and Undo-Checkout windows. For more information, see Check-in of database changes.

Title bar appearance.

Page size for browser objects. For more information, see Configure browser page size.

Number of queries returned in object searches. For more information, see Learn about search results paging.

Unit of measure appearance for attributes. For more information, see Show attribute values in source unit of measure.

Display of attribute values to the units of measure that are mapped to a selected UOM group. When no UOM group is selected, attribute values are based on the default UOM defined in attribute templates or their source unit of measure (if Use Source Unit-Of-Measure for attribute display is selected). Display of excluded attributes. For more information, see Excluded attribute property.

Number of digits displayed for attribute values. For more information, see Learn how numeric values for attribute values are displayed.
Time Context tab
You use the Time Context tab to define the time or time range that PI System Explorer uses to display attribute values. For more information, see Set time context for displayed attribute values.
Server Options tab
You can define how PI System Explorer connects to a PI AF collective or Data Archive collective on the Server Options tab. For more information, see Manage connection preferences for PI System Explorer.
