PI SQL Client JDBC installation results

Files are installed into the PIHOME\SQL\SQL Client directory, where PIHOME is replaced by the value of the PIHOME directory.

Note: On a 64-bit Windows system, a 32-bit version of each PI SQL Client is also installed.

The following system environment variable is automatically added/updated:

CLASSPATH=PIHOME\SQL\SQL Client\JDBC\PISQLJDBC.jar;.

PIHOME is replaced by the value of the PIHOME directory.

Note: The CLASSPATH environment variable is a standard mechanism in Java to easily start an application without having to specify the path separately. If the CLASSPATH already existed, the PI SQL Client installation appends the full path of PI SQL Client JDBC JAR plus a dot (.), which denotes the current directory.
