Trusted servers

You can configure PI SQL Client JDBC to connect to only trusted servers. With this configuration, PI SQL Client JDBC would only connect to PI SQL Data Access Server (RTQP Engine) on servers that have a valid SSL certificate and that are in the client machine certificate store. The Java certificate store is used for the validation. If the server does not have a valid SSL certificate, an error is displayed and the connection is not made. This configuration can only be set using the driver configuration file, PISQLJDBC.properties, located in the PI SQL Client JDBC installation folder. The configuration applies to all PI SQL Client JDBC connections and cannot be overwritten for a specific connection. The configuration is set to False by default.
