Windows

Windows domain users who are not members of the local Administrators group by default have access to LSA and therefore require no additional configuration to get a valid Kerberos ticket.

Windows domain users who are members of the local Administrators group are not able to acquire a valid ticket from LSA unless the process using PI SQL Client JDBC is run as an administrator. If the process cannot be run as an administrator, you must use either the file-based ticket cache or the keytab to obtain a ticket.

Linux, macOS, and Oracle Solaris

When a domain user logs in to a Linux, macOS, or Oracle Solaris environment, a file-based ticket cache is automatically created by the operating system as /tmp/krb5cc_uid, where uid is the user identification number. Do not interfere with this process.
