Troubleshoot the Virtual Machine (VM) pool

If the VM pool encounters abnormal situations when it manages the VMs, then the VM pool enters an error state.
The error state has the following possibilities:
-
The VM pool gets a new image, but the image has a problem. When the VM pool uses the new image to create the VM, the VM fails five times. The system then declares that the current VM pool is in an error state.
-
The service has a problem, which causes the VM pool to fail five times.
After the pool enters the error state, the pool does not create a new VM until an update operation is triggered (for details, see Virtual Machine (VM) Pool update) or after you contact AVEVA Support to fix the error.
