Note: The AVEVA Scheduler OMI App requires an AVEVA Flex license. It is not included in the product installation. If you have a Flex license, see Downloading and Installing the Scheduler App section in AVEVA Widgets, Apps, and Control Help>AVEVA OMI Apps>Scheduler App.
The AVEVA Scheduler App for OMI automates the scheduling process parameters of any subsystem, such as Street Lighting Systems, or Integrated Building Management Systems (IBMS). The Administrator can configure operational schedules for any supported subsystem by specifying the required values in the AVEVA Scheduler App.
Configure Scheduler App
XML configuration files store information for the schedules you configure in the application. The runtime scheduler will create the XML files in the paths you define here when you preview or deploy and launch the application that contains the Scheduler app.
-
Initial Setup requires Sc_Test folder to be copied to C:\SimulatedData\Sch_Test. This is to utilize predefined sample configurations.
-
You can change the configuration files settings as per requirement. To do so, follow the steps below:
-
Create a folder to host all Scheduler Configuration Files.
-
Create a empty XML file (for example, Config.XML) for:
-
ConfigurationFileName.xml
-
Holiday.xml
-
SubSystem.xml
-
Timeperiod.xml
-
Zone.xml
-
-
-
If no path or file is detected by the Scheduler app, it displays a warning/Error.
-
After the files are available in the path and the Scheduler configurations property is updated, deploy the app to utilize the Scheduler App features.
-
To avoid warnings, Scheduler configuration can use the default configuration files provided with the demo. Based on the Scheduler Runtime Configuration changes, configuration file is updated.
