Installation checklist

Complete the following steps to install UOC Content Library:

1. Install the Windows Desktop Experience feature.

2. Install Microsoft SQL Server version 2019 express edition or higher.

3. Install the following products from AVEVA System Platform 2023 R2 SP1(for more information, see Install System Platform).

   • AVEVA Application Server

   • AVEVA Historian

   • Operations Control Logger

   • AVEVA Enterprise License Manager

   • Operations Control Management Console (OCMC)

   • MQTT from AVEVA Communication Drivers Pack

     Note: Prior to installing UOC Content Library, install SP 2023 R2 SP1 and then install AVEVA System Platform 2023 R2 SP1 Hot Fix IMS3712025 available at Deliverables\InstallFiles\HotFix_IMS3712025. For more information, refer to UOC Content Library Readme.

4. Install Historian with default configuration. For more information, refer to AVEVA System Platform Installation Guide.

5. Install PCS PI Data provider. For more information about installing and configuring PCS PI Data provider, refer to PCS PI Data provider User Guide.pdf available at Deliverables\InstallFiles\UOC Content Library User Guide.

6. Add https://avevademo.poka.io/ to trusted sites. 

7. Copy the SimulationData folder from Deliverables>>InstallFiles to C:\SimulationData.

8. Copy the UOCCP folder from Deliverables>>InstallFiles to C:\Users\Public\Public Documents\UOCCP.

9. Copy the file SIM.aacfg from Deliverables>>InstallFiles>>SimulationOIServer and replace it in C:\ProgramData\Wonderware\OI-Server\$Operations Integration Supervisory Servers$\OI.SIM\OI.SIM folder.

10. Copy the file MQTT.AAcfg from Deliverables>>InstallFiles>>SimulationOIServer and replace it in C:\ProgramData\Wonderware\OI-Server\$Operations Integration Supervisory Servers$\OI.MQTT\OI.MQTT.

Ensure that the hardware and software requirements are met for installing the required applications. Also, check that you have a valid license for all the applications.
