Assign roles

The BI Gateway solution supports the following roles:

• Datastore - Administrator: A user with the BI Gateway "Datastore - Administrator" role has access to the BI Gateway Model Builder.

• Reporting - Analytics User: Only users/groups with the "Reporting - Analytics User" role can view the reporting database information and later configure a database.

You can assign these roles to groups in . For example, if you have created "ReportingAnalytics_User" and "Admin_User" groups, you can assign the "Reporting - Analytics User" role and the "Datastore - Administrator" role to these groups, respectively.

Note: You must have "Datastore - Administrator" privileges for the account to assign roles.
