Installation strategies

To set up an FNP License Server, the administrator first selects a computer that meets the previously mentioned prerequisites and then installs the FNP License Server on the computer.

NOTE: The IPASSI TOKEN License Server is identical to the FNP License Server, except that it manages the TOKEN license instead of the standard FNP license. Therefore, all the instructions that apply to the FNP License Server apply to the FNP TOKEN License Server too.

Depending on whether there is already a version of the FNP server installed on the computer, the administrator chooses one of the following three ways to install the IPASSI FNP License Server.
