Installation requirements for PI System Connector

Before installing the connector, complete the following tasks.

1. Verify the host meets the software and hardware requirements for the connector.

2. If you are upgrading to a new version of the connector, review Upgrade PI System Connector.

3. If the data source has additional requirements for installation, complete those tasks.

4. Configure security for the connector and your network..

5. Identify the administration port number.

6. Identify administration group users.
