Install ACM Database Objects in the Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) Buffer Database

Before You Begin

• Ensure that the ACM_Import database, to which ACM sends raw data bound for AVEVA Measurement Advisor, already exists. For more information, see Prepare the ACM Server to Export Data to AVEVA Measurement Advisor.

• Ensure there is an Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) buffer database on the same Microsoft SQL instance as that of the ACM_Import database.

• Ensure that Microsoft Build Tools (https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/downloads/?q=build+tools) are installed where you are generating the EFM Buffer Data-tier Application package (DACPAC). During the installation, you must also select Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT). For more information, see Install Microsoft Build Tools for Visual Studio.

  Note: You must already have configured the location of the MSBuild executable (MSBuildLocation) in the ACMsettings.json file. For more information, refer to Configure ACMsettings.json.

When you are ready, follow the steps in:

1. Generate the Data-Tier Application Package (DACPAC)

2. Deploy the EFM Buffer Data-Tier Application Package (DACPAC)
