Adjust Folder Permissions in File Explorer

Right-click on the folder, and select Properties.

On the Windows Properties window, select the Security tab.

Select Advanced.

Select Change permissions, if it is available.

Select Disable inheritance, and then select Convert inherited permissions into explicit permissions on this object.

Remove any extra Principals.

Add the appropriate Principal for the installer user and for AVEVA Apps, selecting the permissions outlined in Adjust Permissions for the %DNAInstallRoot% and %DNADataRoot% Folders .

Ensure Replace all child object permission entries with inheritable permission entries from this object is selected.
