Create the Group and User

Log in as an administrator or domain administrator as appropriate.

Do one of the following:

To create a user in Active Directory, open Active Directory Users and Computers, expand your domain, and select Users.

To create a Windows group or user, select Computer Management, select System Tools.

Create a group called AVEVA Apps.

Create a user called AVEVADataConnector.

Configure AVEVADataConnector to be a member of the AVEVA Apps group.

Configure the user that will be used to configure the system as a member of the AVEVA Apps group.
