Edit User Permissions

To edit a user’s permissions, click the Edit link next to the user name.

 AVEVA Unified Supply Chain Shares

Share permissions for AVEVA Unified Supply Chain are controlled in the Spiral Suite section of the user details. Select the read and/or write permissions for the user as appropriate.

Note: Even if the check box for a read or write permission is not selected, the user could still have that permission by being member of a group. You can check this in the View User Details page.

CrudeSync Shares

Share permissions for crude assays and Base + Delta models published from Process Model Manager are controlled in the CrudeSync section. These permissions affect the assays which are visible to users in all the AVEVA Unified Supply Chain components, including Assay.

Warning: Do not change the Write permissions on licensed assay shares. Appropriate users should be able to read from licensed assay libraries, but they should not be able to write to these.
