The less than relation operator (<) compares its operands to determine which one is less than the other.

Parameters

lhs: Type: OSIsoft.AF.AFObject
Left hand operator.
rhs: Type: OSIsoft.AF.AFObject
Right hand operator.

Return Value

Type: Boolean
Returns true if the first operand is less than the second, false otherwise.

Remarks

By definition, any object compares greater than null and two null references compare equal to each other.

This method uses the names of the objects to perform the comparison operation if the object has a Name property. Otherwise, the ID property is used for the comparison.
