Property Value

Type: String
Returns a representation (resembling e-mail) of the public URL for the contact's primary instant messaging address. The maximum length of this property is 100 characters.

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
InvalidOperationException	This exception is thrown when setting this property if the contact is defined by ActiveDirectory.

Remarks

The value of this property is obtained from the ms-Exch-IM-Address Microsoft Active Directory attribute. This attribute is added to Active Directory when you install Microsoft Exchange Server 2003. If this attribute is not present, then this property will always return an empty string.
