Namespace:  OSIsoft.AF
Assembly:  OSIsoft.AFSDK (in OSIsoft.AFSDK.dll) Version: 3.1.1.1182

Syntax

public static TimeSpan MinCheckIPTimeout { get; set; }
Public Shared Property MinCheckIPTimeout As TimeSpan
	Get
	Set

Dim value As TimeSpan

value = AFGlobalSettings.MinCheckIPTimeout

AFGlobalSettings.MinCheckIPTimeout = value
public:
static property TimeSpan MinCheckIPTimeout {
	TimeSpan get ();
	void set (TimeSpan value);
}
static member MinCheckIPTimeout : TimeSpan with get, set

Property Value

Type: TimeSpan
Returns the minimum timeout used to check that a bad host address has been fixed. The default value is 20 seconds.

Remarks

When the CheckIP directory option is enabled and a host address cannot be resolved, the PISystem or PIServer is added to a bad address list. This setting controls the minimum timeout before the host address is checked again.

The default value for this property is read from the SDK's configuration file in the OSI directory under the CommonApplicationData directory. This default value will be the default for all clients executed on the computer. If this property is modified in the client, then it will only affect the current client and the modified value will not be persisted.
