AVEVA™ Unified Engineering on CONNECT is securely accessible over the Internet via AVEVA CONNECT.

AVEVA™ Unified Engineering on CONNECT streams virtual desktop sessions using Amazon Web Services Workspaces Applications (formerly Appstream 2.0) on-demand instances. These are fleets (or pools) of instances residing in a standby state ready to be launched on demand by users.

Workspaces Applications (formerly Appstream 2.0) instances are provisioned from a Golden Image representing a managed blueprint of the Operating System and applications included in AVEVA™ Unified Engineering on CONNECT

AVEVA™ Unified Engineering on CONNECT aims to deliver the latest versions of AVEVA™ software in a fully patched and secure form. To achieve this, the Golden Image is updated regularly in relation to Operating System, Virus Scan Database and Application updates as part of automated build and dynamic delivery pipelines.
