InTouch HMI seamlessly integrates with a variety of software components. This section provides references to software compatibility with InTouch HMI 2023 R2 (x64).

Definitions of terms used in this section:

Environment compatibility: Ability for InTouch HMI to operate with a technology on the system.

Product coexistence: Ability for InTouch HMI to be installed, configured and run with other AVEVA products on the same machine.

Product interoperability: Ability for InTouch HMI to communicate through a common message protocol with other AVEVA products.
Note: This deployment guide focuses on as-normally-installed configurations. Certain other software components are not tested and not listed because the specific software package is not normally found in environments with InTouch HMI software.

InTouch HMI is a Microsoft Windows-based product and is compatible with a wide range of operating systems.
InTouch works with database software to create and manage storage for components such as tag names, data types, and other components.
The InTouch run-time environment requires Windows .NET components.
InTouch supports all major browsers for web client and other browser functionality.
InTouch can be installed and run on virtual machines. This is a low cost way to expand network components and to build in high availability features.
InTouch is compatible with a wide range of other AVEVA software products.
InTouch can coexist with a wide range of other AVEVA software products.
InTouch can interoperate with a wide range of other AVEVA software products.
