Planning a deployment of any size can be described as working through a checklist of key items.
-
Determine and describe what you want to accomplish. Test possible deployment configurations with informal diagrams - use paper, white board, Microsoft Visio or any other tool of your choice - can provide a starting point for analyzing hardware and software needs. Refer to InTouch HMI quick deployment system architecture.
-
Familiarize with hardware and software requirements, compatibility, coexistence, and interoperability.
-
Inventory the hardware on hand and what you need to add or modify. Refer to Quick deployment hardware guidelines.
-
Inventory the software on hand and what you need to add or update. Refer to InTouch HMI software environment.
