The workflow for a quick start InTouch HMI deployment is as follows:

  1. Plan your installation in advance. For a small system, planning can be as simple or as elaborate as you choose. For a quick start, we recommend a simple plan.

    1. Plan the system architecture. Use the provided InTouch HMI deployment system architecture or use that as a starting point for your specific needs.

    2. Understand and devise a plan for hardware based on your architecture choices. Use the Hardware guidelines for InTouch HMI deployment to create your plan.

  2. Follow the steps outlined in the topic: InTouch HMI deployment steps.

  3. Test and exercise your InTouch installation with the steps provided under Create and run a stand-alone application.
