Set up live data access with I/O

As an optional step to create and run a first stand-alone application, you can configure your application with live data access with I/O. This option would replace the use of a SIM communication driver to obtain simulated data.

Refer to the Data access with I/O section in the InTouch HMI online help. The topics in that section will guide you to use, for example, the Gateway communication driver and its various protocols. We recommend the Gateway driver for its comprehensive list of protocols to link clients and data sources.
